About The Philharmonic Chorus of Tokyo
This evening was to have been our, now cancelled, Beethoven concert. We are all very disappointed that, due to the current Covid pandemic, we were unable to present this concert. We are even more disappointed as it was to have been the final concert under the baton of Steven Morgan , who has been our Principal Conductor since This is not the send-off we had hoped for, to be sure. The choir has grown and changed and challenged under Steven's direction and we deeply appreciate that he gave so much of his time and talent to the choir over the last 22 years. Wishing you all the best in your retirement, Steven. You will be missed. We look forward to working with you in your new role as as our Conductor Emeritus. A new date and time will be scheduled. Watch this space for the a new event with the new information.
